Former ITPA Vice President Passes
Thomas Allen Lashmett, 75,  of Waterloo, Illinois (formerly from the Jacksonville area), passed away surrounded by family on Thursday morning March 29, 2018 at Reflections at Garden Place Memory Care Assisted Living in Columbia, Illinois.
Tom served as western zone director in the Illinois Tractor Pulling Asssociation from 1980 to 2010.  Tom was Vice President of the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association from 1987 to 2010.  Tom and his brother David were former modified 4wd truck pullers and also operated Lashmett Sleds for several years.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Daws Family Funeral Home, 657 N. Main, Winchester, Illinois 62694.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Winchester, Illinois.
Memorials are suggested to the Morgan County 4-H Foundation, Scott County Fair Board, and Reflections at Garden Place Memory Care Assisted Living.

2017 ITPA Awards Banquet
The 2017 Illinois Tractor Pulling Association Awards Banquet was held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois.
Approximately 400 people were in attendance to honor the 2017 ITPA sponsors, promoters, point winners, past ITPA board members, special award winners and their families.  Over $90,000 in point money, Burrus Seed, scholarships, jackets, trophies, door prizes and cash was awarded.
Winner of the $500 competing membership “pass the envelope game” was Devin Cain (Devin donated $400 to the Marc Clifton Memorial Scholarship Fund)
