National Farm Machinery Show – Louisville, KY
ITPA competitor, Cory Roberts (Ground Scrape) finished 4th in the Pro Stock division and advances to the Saturday night finals.  In the Modified division, Illinois competitors were Steve Bunnage (Take a Lickin) – 3rd, Bill Leischner (Dirtslinger) – 5th, Wayne Bunnage (Keeps on Tickin) – 6th, Tom Bollinger (Top Gun) – 8th.
ITPA competitors had a great night.  In the 2WD Truck division, Misty Nelson (Wild One) finished 2nd, Jared Nelson (Midnight Revenger) finished 4th.  Both Misty and Jared advance to the Saturday night finals.  Craig Corzine (Burn Notice) finished 7th.  In the 9500# Limited Pro Stock division, Michael Rogier (Horseshoes & Hand Grenades) finished 2nd.  Congratulations to all.
ITPA competitors continue to do well at Louisville (especially the ladies).  In the 2wd Truck division, Bethany Nelson (Sweet Revenge) finished 2nd, Ashley Corzine (Second Degree) finished 4th.  Both Bethany and Ashley advance to the Saturday night finals, congratulations ladies.  Jeremy Nelson (Midnight Gambler) finished 10th.  In the Pro Stock division, Lance Little (True Grit) finished 6th and David Justison (Wheat Fed) finished 12th.
Saturday (afternoon)
ITPA competitor, Travis Kuhns (Trailblazer) finished 2nd in the Pro Stock division and advances to the Saturday night finals.  Congratulations Travis.  Victor Miller (Diesel N Dirt) finished 8th.  In the Light Super Stock division, ITPA competitor, Todd Maedge (Monkey Mayhem) finished 12th.
Saturday (night)  Finals

It’s a Girl!

Eric and Alicia Schaefer of Ruma, Illinois are the proud parents of a baby girl.  Lakin Elizabeth was born on Friday, February 10, 2017 weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20″ long.  Lakin will be welcomed home by big brother, Landon.  Proud grandparents are Southern Zone Director, Alan Eschmann and his wife Maribeth of Fults, Illinois.

Rule Changes/Additions
Rule changes and additions from the November 6 and December 11, 2016 ITPA Board of Directors meetings are now posted under the “Tech Section”.

2016 ITPA Awards Banquet
The 2016 Illinois Tractor Pulling Association Awards Banquet was held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois.
Approximately 350 people were in attendance to honor the 2016 ITPA sponsors, promoters, point winners, special award winners and their families.  Over $80,000 in point money, Burrus seed, scholarships, jackets, trophies, door prizes and cash was awarded.
Winner of the $500 competing membership “pass the envelope game” was Bill Friedrich.
